Medvarsity is a pioneer when it comes to helping NEET PG aspirants prepare and upskill for career growth in various disciplines and specialties of medicine.

The clinical courses are exclusively designed by doctors, for doctors, whereas the non-clinical courses are designed by industry experts from the leading universities. Medvarsity has partnerships with leading universities globally which enables them to present the best courses and faculties to students and help them meet their learning goals.

Project Background

Campus is an innovative learning management platform that has been specifically designed to revolutionize education within health science universities and colleges. With a mission to enhance the academic journey of students pursuing health science degrees, Campus offers a comprehensive and digital approach to learning.

What sets Campus apart is its commitment to delivering a holistic and interactive learning environment. From virtual classrooms and dynamic course materials to real-time collaboration, students and educators will find everything they need to excel in their health science studies. Campus empowers learners to access their courses, assignments, and resources from anywhere at any time, making education more flexible and convenient.

Goal

The main goal was to develop an exquisite web based SaaS application that helps users to manage medical universities, colleges, faculties, students, courses, competency framework program scheduling, competencies, and assignments online. Users can create their own universities or Single college or group of colleges corresponding to under a specific college and able to configure and schedule academic courses and batches for students in their college.

Individuals such as the “organizational admins”, “college admins”, “faculties”, “students”, have their own dashboard where they can login and manage their respective activities. The faculties in the application can create subjects specific to a program within a college. Each subjects created will have topics, sub topics, competencies specific to a topic or sub topic, assessments, and the assignments.

Created subjects by the faculties can be visible to the students as the students can learn about the contents added in topics or sub topics within a subject. The students also be able to upload assignments which can be viewed in a file viewer by the faculties as they can view PDF, PPT, Word and XLS documents uploaded by the students in the file model viewer and be able to easily grade the assignments of the students.

Project Timeline

The time taken for the completion of the project including the frequent feedback from real time students and administrative users of university is 6 months.

Challenges

There are several challenges faced during the development of the project.

Design revision – Amidst the ongoing development phase there were several revisions in the UI/UX designs based on how the real-time users used the application.

Document parser - The document parser feature that needs to convert and show the assignment files of the students to teachers for online evaluation. The file to be presented can be of different formats such as word, PDF, or PPT etc.

Bulk upload – The app allows bulk upload option of Users ( Admins, Faculties, Students ) Subjects and Assignments etc.
