About The Client
Paygiv offers a wide range of gift card options to purchase from the platform. It helps you earn cashback on all the purchases made by your gift card and you can choose to contribute the cashback completely to your preferred charity or a part of your earned cashback to the charity.Paygiv helps the charity receive donations directly from the users based on the value and time frame they have planned to donate. The gift cards purchased from Paygiv can be used online or in-person as well and it currently supports gift cards of 400+ leading brands in the US. The cashback earned can be converted to cash and used on the purchases.

Paygiv, an Charity-backed platform, was created to deliver mutual benefits to consumers and charity organizations alike. The platform enables users to make purchases that not only benefit them but also support their chosen causes through charitable donations.
Platform Features & Order Workflow
The objective was to develop a user-friendly mobile application for iOS and Android, allowing users to purchase gift cards through an integrated payment gateway. After purchasing a gift card, users are rewarded with cashback points that will be stored in an e-wallet, and at the same time a percentage of that amount will be donated to a charity.
In the application, the user has the option to choose a charity and depending on the user's selection the specific charity will receive a percentage of the amount each time a gift card is purchased by the user.
The application also supports direct fund donations. Users will have to choose an NGO from the displayed list and be able enter the desired amount to donate. They can also select whether it is a one-time donation or is a recurring donation, where funds will be donated every month based on the amount specified.
By using an integrated payment gateway, users can make donations or purchase gift cards. The application uses a Tilled payment gateway, which supports purchases via credit cards and ACH bank transfers. The entire platform is managed by a backend administrator, who handles tasks such as setting the cashback percentage and adding charities.

To ensure safe and seamless cashback and donation transactions, Zaigo integrated Tilled, enabling PCI-compliant, real-time payment processing with complete transparency.
User Verification & Fraud Prevention
To prevent fraudulent registrations, the Prove API was implemented for instant identity verification and secure user onboarding.
Wallet & Fund Management
Zaigo built a robust in-app wallet system that allows users to earn, store, convert, and donate cashback easily within the platform.
Donation Transparency
Implemented real-time dashboards and detailed transaction tracking to ensure every donation was traceable, fostering user trust and accountability.
Scalable Admin Management
Developed a dynamic, role-based admin panel to manage users, cashback configurations, and charity onboarding efficiently while maintaining full operational control.

Prove API Integration
To solve the user verification issue, the “Prove API” was integrated into the platform. This API cross-references user registration data with national databases, ensuring that only legitimate American citizens could use the service, thus reducing fraudulent activity.

After multiple payment gateway trials, the Tilled payment gateway was incorporated to handle transactions via credit card or ACH bank transfers. This solution facilitated smooth transactions, despite concerns over cashback-related issues.
